Choosing a bottle

There's no best bottle, only the one your baby accepts. Start with one or two of a single type rather than buying a whole set — babies are opinionated and rarely agree with the reviews. Match nipple flow to age, and watch for gulping, choking, or milk running from the corners of the mouth, which usually means the flow is too fast.

Pacifiers

Diapering and rash

Change frequently, wipe front to back, and let skin air-dry for a moment before the fresh diaper — that pause prevents more rashes than any cream.

For rash, a thick barrier ointment at each change and as much diaper-free time as your floors will tolerate. Ask your pediatrician about a rash that's bright red with satellite spots, blisters, or doesn't improve in a few days — that can be yeast, which needs different treatment.

Cloth versus disposable is a lifestyle decision, not a health one. Either works when changed often.
