For organizations: Tammy’s full advisory, speaking, and partnership work is at caremapexpert.com →
Most caregiving benefits go unused because they solve for logistics and not for the decision — which nanny, which facility, which conversation with a parent who says no.
Backup care and referral lists help with the easy part. The hard part is the decision underneath: whether a parent can still live alone, how to split care with siblings, whether to move a child out of a daycare that isn't working. Employees don't call a benefits hotline for that — they take a personal day and figure it out alone.
That gap is expensive. Caregiving pressure shows up as absenteeism, reduced hours, declined promotions, and mid-career attrition among exactly the employees you least want to lose.

Employers with a workforce in their forties and fifties, companies with active caregiver or parent ERGs, benefits teams whose caregiving vendor is underused, and organizations losing mid-career employees to family demands they never made visible.
Tammy wrote Secrets of the Nanny Whisperer (Penguin) and the Care Map Method™ book series, a structured framework for family care from infancy through the teen years and into eldercare. The same framework is what organizations license, teach, and build programs on.
